Gerber & Stauffer Fine Arts is an international dealership specialising in Modern, Post-War and contemporary art. We advise a select group of private and institutional clients on all aspects of building and managing their collections. Acting as agents for our clients or on own account, we buy and sell important works of art from the late 19th century to the present. Our main office with in-house research facilities and spacious viewing rooms is centrally located in Zurich, Switzerland.

Manuel Gerber, Partner, pioneered quantitative research in art market econometrics and has been advising private and institutional clients from across the globe on collecting and art investments since 2006. A founding member and CEO of an early private art fund, he has previously held academic, executive and board positions in Europe, the US, the Middle East and Asia.

Manuel Gerber holds a PhD in Near Eastern Archaeology and Ancient Near Eastern Languages and is a Sloan Fellow of London Business School.

Thomas Stauffer, Partner, has been a passionate collector of contemporary art since his teenage years. Before co-founding Gerber & Stauffer Fine Arts, he held various senior management positions, inter alia with Starbucks Switzerland/Austria and the Swiss Army.

Thomas Stauffer has served as President of the Swiss Art Trading Association (khvs.ch) since 2021. He has degrees in Economics and Human Resource Management as well as a post-graduate degree in Arts and Cultural Management.
